  Chevere is a wonderful restaurant! The food is excellente! and the service is prompt, friendly and frequent. our waitress, Corrina took our order, suggested items and the food came quickly. The plating was very nice. TheEmpanadas were light, NOT greasy, and flavorful. Likewise the Wueso frito and the taquitos. For Entrees, my wife had the Bistec Encebollada, which was accompanied by rice, beans, and potato salad and I had he Mr. Cubano sandwich, which cam ewith very tasty fries. For desert we had the Tres :eche cake, well worth the calories. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Freeport and there is usually ample parking.

  Cuban Chimi is a must! Specials were great. The plantains were crispy, fresh and had killer sauce. All that and a cold beer... What's better than that? Jose and his staff are attentive and enjoy what they do. Very reasonable prices.
